Mission
The trifold mission of Team Evolution AAU Basketball is to initially provide quality basketball training, educate families on school selection and recruitment process, and create future pillars of the community by instilling the principles of resiliency, respect, accountability, and responsibility.
Vision
Developmentally, members of Team Evolution AAU Basketball will be hosting rigorous workouts to better court vision, athleticism, and basketball concept. Educationally, members will be exposed to learning study habits, standardized testing training, and academic workshops. Holistically, members will be given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership through various community service projects.

Founded in 2018, the overall goal of the founders Latrice Jackson, Kenya Moody, and Aiesha Smith is to assist children with capitalizing on opportunities to earn collegiate scholarships.
As partners, these three women are dedicated and committed to bettering the lives of urban youth.
Latrice Jackson, a native of Newark New Jersey, serves on the Managerial operational staff for Verizon. Serving regionally, Latrice is well versed in managing the progression of large business and corporations leading to their success. Latrice has been a dedicated parent volunteer and community helper for the past 15 years. Latrice's responsibilities include yet are not limited to overseeing managing business affairs as the Director of Administration.
Kenya Moody, a distinguished veteran educator of the School District of Philadelphia is a former Lindback Award Recipient, Master of Computer Science recipient, and longtime Board Member of the Frankford Chargers Organization. Kenya has coached several teams at the high school and middle school level for the past 15 years. Her own playing experience resulted in her induction into the Gwynedd Mercy College's Athletic Hall of Fame. Kenya has used her knowledge to travel nationally, regionally, and locally showcasing the talents of urban youth with the hopes of them gaining collegiate interest and securing financial aid. Her expertise in the field of coaching, player development, and Computer Networking paired with her prior Athletic Director experience will place Team Evolution AAU Basketball as a prime competitor in the AAU realm. Kenya will serve as the Director of Technology and Apparel.
Aiesha Smith, is a graduate of the Philadelphia public school system and Masters of Education recipient serving youth daily as a School District of Philadelphia Educator. As former player for Chestnut Hill College and with prior coaching experience at the Junior College level, Aiesha is well versed in player development and the recruiting process. Her great networking skills and ability to foster relationships with families coupled with her passion for education will be on full display as she serves as the Director of Educational Programming and Scheduling. Aiesha's commitment to youth excellence will assist Team Evolution with producing prominent members of society stemming from urban communities. Aiesha is coming up on year seven of coaching experience and currently serves as the Varsity Head Girls' Basketball Coach at Benjamin Franklin High School.
